Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 3, 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Arthur's AI Website Builder ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information when you use our website and service.
2. Information we collect
Account information: your name, email address and password (stored securely by our authentication provider), or your Google account details if you sign in with Google.
Website content: the business details, text, images and settings you provide to build your websites, including conversations with the AI assistant.
Billing information: your plan and subscription status. Card details are processed by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
Visitor form submissions: information entered into forms on websites you publish, stored as leads in your dashboard.
Usage data: pages visited, features used, device and browser information, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
3. How we use information
To provide and operate the Service, including generating and hosting your websites; to process payments and manage your subscription; to send service emails such as receipts, security notices and support replies; to improve the product and fix problems; and to prevent fraud and abuse.
4. AI processing
Content you provide to the AI assistant is sent to third-party AI providers to generate text, layouts and images. We do not use your content to train our own models, and our providers are contractually restricted from using it beyond delivering the service.
5. Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us run the Service — hosting, authentication, payments (Stripe), email delivery and AI generation — under agreements that protect your data. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell personal information.
6. Visitors to published websites
If you visit a website built with our Service, the website owner is responsible for the information collected there. Form submissions are delivered to that owner. Please refer to the owner's own privacy notice.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We may use analytics tools to understand how the Service is used.
8. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete a website or close your account, we delete or anonymise associated data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
10. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy from time to time and will post the new date above. Questions or requests can be sent through the Contact page.
